The following notice was sent out by the Addie's Pond HOA on Monday, September 25:

An incident occurred yesterday afternoon in Chandler Ridge, Kennesaw GA when a couple driving a white Honda Civic entered a cul-de-sac full of children and said that they were selling a cat. A female was driving while a male was in the passenger seat possibly because he was more capable of pulling a child into the car. The children were approaching the car when fortunately one of their fathers drove into the e cul- de-sac and stopped to ask who the couple was. The car sped off before he could talk to them.

This entrapment is truly frightening as some of the kids were initially very upset not because of being scared but because they didn't get to see the cat before the car sped off!!
